Flannery O’Connor’s “A Good Man is Hard to Find” to be Adapted Into Feature Length Film

David Zander, President and Co-Founder of bi-coastal/international commercial and music video production giant, MJZ (Morton Jankel Zander, Inc.), has partnered with Producers Ed Richardson and Mike Sears of 3645 Films to produce a feature film adaptation of National Book Award winning writer Flannery OConnors legendary short story, A GOOD MAN IS HARD TO FIND.

A GOOD MAN IS HARD TO FIND is in active development and the screenplay has been written by Benedict Fitzgerald (WISE BLOOD, THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST).

The producers have also enlisted award winning Casting Director Laray Mayfield (THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON, THE SOCIAL NETWORK, FIGHT CLUB) to cast.

In Ms. OConnors own words, A GOOD MAN IS HARD TO FIND is the story of a family of six which, on its way driving to Florida, gets wiped out by an escaped convict who calls himself the Misfit. The violence found in the pages of her work serves a very specific purpose.
