Discover the Twilight Collection by Stephenie Meyer

If you are an enormous admirer of wonderful easy to read literature, make sure you take a look at this series of vampire books for young adults. There is a series of books called the Twilight saga. It contains four novels penned by American author Stephenie Meyer.

The books have been so successful that they have all been adapted into motion movies. Two of these are now available to buy on DVD, while the third will go on general release this year. The final book in the saga is scheduled to start filming at the end of the year.

The names of the individual books that you can buy in the series are called Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn.

These stories centre on the relationship between a young girl called Isabella Swan and a young looking vampire called Edward Cullen. It is essentially a love story that explores all the issues that this particular couple face due to the fact that one person is a human while the other is a vampire.

Although the books have been written with the young adult market in mind, these books are also very accessible for the older generation. This is because the basic underlying themes include moving to a new town, trying to get on with life in a different place, the beginning of a new romance and all the difficult choices that some people are faced with.

The major difference of course, is that the girl in question, Isabella, or Bella as she likes to be called, has fallen in love with a vampire and this brings up a lot of very interesting issues that she has to deal with.

This vampire family is a little different to the regular types that we usually read about. This is because they have made the decision not to feast on the food of human blood as they want to try and retain some sense of their own humanity.

Once you pick up the first book you will not want to put it down until you find out what happens in the end. There are now film versions available for the first two books, Twilight the movie and the New Moon DVD.

The books or the films would certainly make a great gift idea for any occasion.
